Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the daily operation of the Posada Life Community Services’ programs, including Adult Day Services, Los Niños Preschool, Community Center and Behavioral Health Services in accordance with the participants' needs and the State of AZ licensing requirements when applicable. Also insures intergenerational activities occur between program participants, when appropriate.
  • Adopt, maintain and enforce policies and procedures needed to operate quality programs.
  • Direct, supervise and evaluate the performance of program managers, counselors, and PLCS administrative staff.
  • Member of administrative teams and committees as assigned by supervisor.
  • Oversees PLCS’s marketing and public relations by working with La Posada marketing department.
  • Oversees PLCS’s fundraising efforts.
  • Represent PLCS with key community stakeholders, funders, organizations, and referral sources.
  • Maintains contracts with private and governmental funding sources.
  • Utilizing software applications, establishes, maintains and monitors internal management and information collection systems to facilitate internal financial reporting, recordkeeping and utilization review.
  • Provides fee for service billing to participants/parents and bills through contracts for services provided.
  • Develops annual budget for PLCS and presents to Senior Management.
  • Perform other duties to support Posada Life Community Services as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of supervisory and practical experience, demonstrating skills in directing, organizing and implementing daily operations of programs serving young children and older adults.
  • Demonstrated skills in staff supervision, including planning, organizing and reviewing the work of a paid and volunteer staff.
  • Demonstrated expertise in computer applications including accounting software.
  • Knowledge of the physical, social and behavioral health needs of older adults and young children.
  • Knowledge of community resources and fundraising.
  • Freedom from pulmonary tuberculosis on annual basis.
  • CPR and First Aid training
