Performs tasks of varying complexity, including interaction with residents, national, state and local agencies, phone call screening, scheduling meetings, creating correspondence and maintaining files which may be confidential in nature.
Develops and prepares literature and customer correspondence to enhance communication with residents on our campus as well as potential future residents, including newsletters, reports, and organizational information and announcements.
Interprets routine policy and procedures, maintaining information documents and data sheets.
Is available to staff and to families as needed to assist with issues and concerns relating to the care of La Posada residents and serves, as such, as the liaison to the Executive Director of Operations when not available.
Performs tasks of varying complexity in support of various department heads, including typing, proofing and special projects as necessary.
Performs tasks of varying complexity in support of La Posada's management team, including the CEO, CFO, Senior leadership and other administrative personnel as necessary or requested .
Operates office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and telephone systems, and use computers for spreadsheets, word processing, presentations, database management, and other applications
Skills / Requirements
College graduate preferred.
Five years secretarial experience, inclusive of two years Executive assistant equivalent.
Background in administrative or office management.
Computers and related computer software.
