DESCRIPTION:  Provides technical support and installation of moderately complex personal computer systems, tablets, phones and peripherals.  Provides technical assistance and support of equipment and software for business and resident customers.

SPECIFIC DESCRIPTION:

  1. Installation, support and maintenance of PC, Mac, Android and IOS devices and peripherals.
  2. Configure and troubleshoot basic networking and wireless configurations.
  3. Install and troubleshoot consumer A/V equipment, smart home devices and streaming devices.
  4. Establishes and meets reasonable timeframes for resolution of problems.
  5. Documents tickets in the incident management system.
  6. Work hours require flexibility, after hours support required as needed.
  7. Other duties as assigned.

This dynamic person must have the following skills:

  1. Written and verbal communication skills in English, including instructions and procedures.
  2. Ability to accurately type 25 WPM.
  3. Demonstrated ability to solve moderately complex problems.
  4. Ability to complete tasks and solve problems independently as well as in teams.
  5. Demonstrated ability to maintain the confidentiality and integrity of systems and information.

Education:

  • High School Diploma
  • Optional: College or technical training.

Experience:

  • Basic computer and network skills. (Installing, Troubleshooting,)
  • One year of computer technician experience
