Responsibilities
- Conduct and oversee Title 4 training responsibilities for staff and management
- Maintain compliance with all liquor laws, policies, and safety regulations
- Complete weekly and monthly liquor inventories
- Manage liquor ordering and maintain appropriate stock levels
- Develop and update drink menus
- Train staff on drink preparation, presentation, and customer service standards
- Provide oversight and leadership for bar operations
- Perform bartending duties as needed
- Greet and interact with residents and guests professionally and courteously, ensuring a positive customer experience
- Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with age requirements for alcohol service
- Process orders, credit card transactions, and maintain accuracy in point-of-sale systems
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment, utensils, and glassware
- Restock supplies, garnishes, and ingredients as needed to ensure efficient service
- Monitor resident and guest behavior and alcohol consumption to promote responsible service and comply with state and local regulations
- Perform opening and closing procedures, including setup, breakdown, and inventory tasks
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to support overall service operations
- Adhere to all company policies, health and safety regulations, and state/local alcohol laws
- Participate in additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor, aligned with qualifications and reasonably expected to be completed with minimal orientation
Qualifications
- Previous bartending and beverage management experience preferred
- Knowledge of Title 4 liquor regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to train and mentor staff
- Professional, dependable, and customer-service oriented
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and special events as needed
