Description

La Posada at Park Centre, a premier retirement community located in Green Valley, AZ is looking for an experienced Plumber worker.

Candidate must be able to perform a variety of semi-skilled work in the maintenance and repair of campus buildings, facilities, and fixtures including carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical trades as required by the Facilities Director.  They will perform various preventive maintenance tasks as well as responding to resident’s maintenance requests.

Skills/ Requirements

• Knowledge of plumbing repairs, maintenance, installation techniques and plumbing codes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics and written reference material Ability to perform mathematical calculations
• Ability to diagnose and resolve problems
• Install underground storm, sanitary, or water piping
• Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts,
• cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing, or welding equipment
• Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers or water heaters,
• or fixtures such as sinks or toilets, using hand or power tools
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Must be able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people as well as maintain proper records and logs.
• Must be able to follow Federal, State, and local building codes and follow general safety standards as set by OSHA.
