Spanish Instructor
La Posada at Pusch Ridge is seeking a passionate and dependable Spanish Instructor to teach classes on our campus to interested residents. Responsibilities include teaching both oral and written Spanish, developing and tailoring lesson plans for beginner-level classes, and potentially introducing multi-level classes as interest and skill levels grow.

- $45.00/hour class
Spanish Teacher Responsibilities:
- Developing lesson plans and curricula based on a variety of levels and backgrounds.
- Providing conversational classes where pronunciation and important words and phrases are taught.
- Teaching writing and Spanish composition classes within the framework of the class.
- Familiarity on teaching methods, materials, and language games that can be used in class.
- Ability to maintain class(es) communication through email group(s).
- Teaching students about Spanish culture, which may include festivals, traditional food, dress, and social conventions.
- Organizing fun events where students can showcase their Spanish language skills.
Spanish Teacher Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Spanish language, literature, or an equivalent may be required.
- Near native fluency.
- A teaching certificate or license may be required.
- Strong interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Well-organized and able to handle multiple responsibilities.
- Detail-oriented and resilient.
