Job Duties include:

• Provide excellent customer service in transporting La Posada residents to medical appointments and quality-of-life outings, which include shopping, errands, and scheduled activities.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance and mileage logs.
• Transport inter-office mail to various buildings on the La Posada campus.
• Pick up and deliver resident packages, which may include medications from local pharmacies.
• Monitor cleanliness of vehicles and report maintenance problems to Transportation Supervisor

Requirements:

• Must have an Arizona Commercial Class C License
• Excellence in customer service relations
• Safe driving record
• Knowledge of equipment
• Ability to communicate with older adults as well as peers, with compassion and patience.
• Effective decision-making skills and the ability to act quickly in emergency situations.
